Strong, STRONG image! The defining element for me is the ambiguous, white « sliver » near the bottom of the frame. Without it, the image is still a sky-scape. It lends a bit of mystery, and as I said, ambiguity. These are qualities that I love in photographs, whatever other levels they may also work on.
